Marysville coaches and swimmers hope to get to practice at home this summer and finish the season as hosts of the Sunflower League meet, but first the city pool must be repaired.

The pool hasn’t opened because of leaking pipes, which has forced the local swimmers to find somewhere else to practice and compete. Before the season began earlier in June, Marysville carpooled to the Beatrice Water Park for a four-hour camp in cold water. It was a necessity to get swimmers used to the water before a meet at Sabetha.
