Marysville’s Junior Legion is 7-4 after a 2-1 performance last week in baseball games against visiting Fairbury and a doubleheader at Belleville.

The locals are looking forward to a lot of home games in July. The Juniors were to play at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in Fairbury and at 6 and 8 p.m. Wednesday at Effingham. All players and coaches were to have temperatures taken before leaving for Effingham, which is in Atchison County. Temperatures are a requirement of the Atchison County Health Department. Anybody who will be in the stands will be required to have their temperature taken there or they will not be let in, according to Post 163 manager Greg Scheele.
