Hanover took away things Frankfort wanted to do early that made the FHS Wildcats more one-dimensional in Friday’s eight-man Division II semifinal football game.

The HHS Wildcats limited Frankfort’s offense to 292 yards — 100 of that to the rush, which was well under FHS’ 285-yard average a game. Quarterback Gavin Cornelison passed for 192 yards, about 95 yards more than his average, and Frankfort simply did not score enough, which led to a 74-26 Hanover win.
