Olivia Richardson, a seventh-grader at Marysville Junior-Senior High, was the northeast division winner of the League of Kansas Municipalities “My City, My Home” essay contest.

Her essay will be printed in the March Kansas Government Journal. The contest was open to seventh-graders across Kansas. Students had to write a 500-word essay under the theme of “My City, My Home.”
