The last time Marysville’s depot saw a pandemic was the polio outbreaks that occured here in the 1940s and 1950s.

Undoubtedly passenger trains coming in and out of Marysville through those years at times carried victims of the debilitating illness that crippled children and adults.

Participation sticker

Those who received a shot also got a sticker to wear. The primary dose of Pfizer’s vaccine was given that day.
