Two mill and overlay projects are scheduled to begin in Marshall County on Thursday.

According to the Kansas Department of Transportation, about 11 miles of U.S. Highway 77 will be restricted to one lane from U.S. Highway 36 to the Kansas-Nebraska state line. Traffic will be directed by a pilot car, flaggers, signs and cones. Eastbound and westbound U.S. 36 will also be controlled by flaggers and a pilot car when work on U.S. 77 is taking place near the intersection.
