Renaming a portion of highway in Marshall County, putting an anti-abortion constitutional amendment up for statewide vote, approving the state budget and dealing with COVID-19 are among issues area legislators Sen. Elaine Bowers, R-Concordia, and Rep. Lisa Moser, R-Wheaton, are looking forward to during the coming session.
The Kansas Legislature convened Monday. This is Bowers’ 14th year as a legislator. She represents the 36th District in the Senate. Moser was elected in November to represent the 106th District in the House.
