Two area businesses and one local agency were among 183 Kansas agriculture and food-related businesses and individuals to receive grants as part of the Securing Local Food Systems program funded through the federal CARES Act.

Frankfort Meat Co. received a $100,000 grant. Marshall County Agency on Aging received $15,000, and Nancy Vogelsberg-Busch, owner of VB Farms, received $5,000.
