Bill Mullins

Bill Mullins, former superintendent of Marysville public schools who died Wednesday, June 24, testifies before the Kansas Senate Education Committee in 2015 about a finance formula being considered for the Coalition of Innovative Districts, which includes Marysville.

Former Marysville schools Superintendent Bill Mullins’ battle against cancer ended more than three years after his diagnosis.

Mullins died about 7 a.m. Wednesday. He had battled gastric cancer while he served as superintendent of Unified School District 364. He resigned in 2019 so he could spend more time with family and he and wife Jennifer moved back to Arkansas where they had lived prior to moving here.
