Despite drawing a large crowd and requests for more time and consideration, Marshall County commissioners unanimously voted to approve five Irish Creek Wind Project agreements Monday.
“This group from all sides wishes that you postpone the signing of this and that is not just strictly from one side or the other, that’s from people who are looking at this as a whole,” said former commissioner Dave Stump, a Blue Rapids farmer and rancher. “Everything has been done in silence. That really bothers everybody. When it is all done behind closed doors, people just have a bad feeling about it.”
