Marysville City Council, which met Nov. 9, has tabled discussion of how to deal with sewer system grinder pumps that serve only one customer.

The grinder pump issue was raised by City Administrator Austin St. John at the council’s Oct. 12 meeting. He requested the city be allowed to move away from maintaining and transfer control back to the 14 property owners who have their own city-maintained pumps. Normally the pumps serve multiple households.
