Ron Wilson, “poet lariat” of the cowboy genre, enjoys sharing his love for stories from the open range told through poetic verse.
Wilson, of Manhattan, shared a poem with the lunch crowd March 12 at Marysville’s American Legion hall. Later, about 40 people listened at the Helvering Community Center to more of Wilson’s poetry.
