An Oct. 3 meeting to discuss revitalizing Lake Idlewild north of Waterville drew a crowd, according to Waterville Mayor Josh Stoudt.

“We discussed critical items needed to bring the lake back to life and equally as important, we discussed the work and networks that would be required to preserve the work that goes into the revitalization,” Stoudt said. “We are looking for volunteers and funding to clean up the property, dredge the lake, build a network of hiking/biking trails and bring the structures back to a usable condition.”
