Story-hour crowd

Lesa Dierking leads a song during story hour in the library’s meeting room this past Saturday. The new story hour starts at 10:30 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month. A family story time is also available each Thursday at 6:45 p.m. and a children’s story time is at 10:30 a.m. each Tuesday.

In the afternoon when school gets out, the Marysville Public Library is a busy place. Young people play games on computers while others socialize and create towers and vehicles with magnetic tiles in the Teen Cafe.

Adults browse along the magazine and newspaper rack, use the computers and peruse the bookshelves to find a page-turner novel or audiobook.
