Preparing meatballs

Fall is the season of football, pumpkin spice and apple orchards, but for farm wives, it’s a time to start a catering service for taking meals to the field, as harvest rolls on in the area.

Sara Naaf, Home City, became a harvest meal maker when her husband, Joel, started farming full time about four years ago with his father, Allen Naaf, and brother, Jeff Naaf, in the Summerfield area.
