Thanks to Diane Schroller and Darlene Boss for stepping up to offer their services again to the city. The two former City Council members recently told council they would be willing to join organized efforts to beautify the city. Anyone who regularly walks and drives our streets knows the work never ends to maintain a town’s curb appeal. A town our size will always need those willing volunteers.

Let’s hope the city jumps at this offer and takes it a step further by recruiting more locals of all ages to help spiff up Marysville. Each of us should be picking up trash as we walk around town and help the city explore ways to remove or clean up blighted properties in affordable ways.
