Saturday ushered in a new era of leadership as ballot tallies gave Joe Biden and Kamala Harris the electoral votes for victory.

Celebrations were in order. America had just elected not only one of the most experienced statesmen ever to become U.S. president but most significantly the first woman as vice president. Both highly qualified individuals in their own rights, this impressive ticket spurred many Democrats and even a few Republicans and Independents to kick up their heels in the streets as spontaneous dance parties ensued Saturday afternoon in streets, parking lots and homes nationwide.
