A new case of COVID-19 was reported in Marshall County Wednesday, according to health officials.

The Marshall County Health Department issued a report stating that two active cases remained in the county, one of which is new.

Cases reported so far in the county totaled eight as of Wednesday, with six of those recovered.

Kansas’ total COVID-19 cases increased to 26,172 by Monday with a total 335 deaths, up from 25,109 total cases and 326 deaths as of Friday.

Nemaha County reported 11 active cases with two hospitalized cases as of Tuesday.

Washington County reported two recovered cases. Riley County reported 110 active cases Tuesday, and Pottawatomie County had seven active cases Monday.

Gage County, Neb., had 10 positive tests reported in the past two weeks. Lancaster County, Neb., had 644 positives in that period.
