Axtell boys placed four runners in the top 10 to win as a team last Thursday in the Washington County Cross Country Invitational.

The Eagles, led by Quinn Buessing, scored 16 points. Nemaha Central, which tied Centralia with 70 points, was second. The Thunder’s No. 5 runner finished 30th while CHS’ runner finished in 35th to break the tie. Frankfort boys were eighth with 122. Valley Heights and Hanover did not field a boys’ team.
