Olivia Kuckelman, Centralia, and Quinn Buessing, Axtell, ran away from the field to win 5K races last Thursday at the Nemaha Central Invitational.

Kuckelman won in 21:15.2, which was 20.3 seconds ahead of Natalie Harlan, Washington County, who has been the front runner in most races so far this season. Doniphan West had three runners finish top six to win as a team with 33 points. Axtell, Centralia and Valley Heights girls did not field teams.
