Landoll to be featured on Sunflower Journeys

Don Landoll, president of Landoll Corporation, is interviewed Monday by “Sunflower Journeys” producer Scott Williams of KTWU public broadcasting station in Topeka. The program’s segment on Landoll is part of a broader story about “ruralpreneurs” featuring Ron Wilson, director of the Huck Boyd Center for Rural Development at Kansas State University. Wilson was asked for examples of success stories in rural Kansas, and he cited a few before stating, “My favorite example is in Marysville,” Williams said, “before he outlined all that Don Landoll had done for the community.” “Sunflower Journeys” will feature several Kansas ruralpreneurs on the show this fall. KTWU will announce the schedule later this summer.
