Farmers Cooperative’s Waterville branch had taken in about 200,000 bushels of corn by Monday, while harvest in northern Marshall County hadn’t started.

“Harvest is slow since the recent rain, but it should get started again this week,” said Mike Leseberg of Farmers Cooperative, Waterville. “We should get started on soybeans later in the week. Seems like we are ahead of the north part of the county, where there are spots where there’s nothing harvested.”
