Congressional candidate Abbie Hodgson asked a roomful of Marysville High School seniors what topics were important to them. Among the answers: social media, bullying, vaping, underage drinking, internet privacy and the minimum wage.

Hodgson, who is a Democratic candidate for Kansas’ 2nd Congressional District, was among city, county, state and federal elected officials who spoke to MHS students during the school’s first civic engagement session Oct. 2.
