Courthouse speech

The Kansas Sampler Foundation’s Marci Penner shares her passion for the Sunflower State with the crowd June 19 at the historic courthouse in Marysville.

A 7,000-pound egg painted in traditional Czech style in the town of Wilson, a tornado sculpture in tiny Cordell, the Ozro Falls of Chautauqua County.

“Our state is rich with these kinds of things,” said Marci Penner as she explained some of the hundreds of sites and unique treasures to visit across Kansas today.
