Anna Cohorst’s preparation for the Marshall County Fair’s horse events is a daily task. She finds pleasure in the practices and has developed a close relationship with her quarter horse, Cisco.
“I enjoy horseback riding because the first thing you establish with a horse is a bond and he becomes a best friend you will have forever,” Cohorst said. “When riding a horse the horse can feel you, the way you move and your attitude. This is a strong trust between the two of you. That’s what brings me joy when riding my horse.”
